Terms & conditions
Effective date: 30 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-30 · English
1. Who provides the service
ammo.tools is provided by AMMO Solutions, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak), registered in the Netherlands at Kloosterdijk 6, 1141 PJ Monnickendam, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 68679750, VAT number NL001694241B13. In these terms, “AMMO”, “we” and “us” refer to the service provider.
For account, billing and service questions, contact info@ammo.solutions. For privacy questions, contact privacy@ammo.solutions. Report security issues to security@ammo.solutions.
2. Scope and agreement
These terms govern your use of ammo.tools and any paid subscription ordered from AMMO. They apply when made available to you before the agreement is concluded and accepted as part of registration, an order, or another agreement with AMMO.
“You” means the person or organisation contracting with AMMO. If you act for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. Invited users must have permission from the relevant customer to use its workspace or project.
ammo.tools is primarily intended for professional software development and testing, but individuals may also use it for personal projects. If you qualify as a consumer under applicable law, mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected by these terms, including rights concerning withdrawal, service conformity, refunds and cancellation. Describing the service as professional does not remove those rights.
A separately signed agreement takes priority over these terms where they conflict. A data processing agreement takes priority for personal-data processing matters.
3. What ammo.tools does
ammo.tools captures email and webhook traffic from development, staging and test environments so authorised users can inspect it. Available features may include workspaces, projects, SMTP inboxes, webhook endpoints, API access, sharing and configured webhook forwarding or replay.
Captured email is not relayed to its addressed recipients. This does not prevent AMMO from sending its own account emails, such as invitations, authentication messages and billing notices. Webhook forwarding or replay can contact destinations you configure and can trigger actions there; you are responsible for selecting appropriate test destinations and obtaining permission to contact them.
The service is not a production email delivery gateway, a permanent archive, a backup service, or a safety-critical system. Do not rely on it for emergency, medical, financial or other functions where interruption or incorrect operation could cause serious harm.
4. Accounts and access
Keep account and billing information accurate. Protect your sign-in credentials, API keys, SMTP credentials, capture URLs and other access secrets. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
An account may support password sign-in or an available identity provider such as Google. The identity provider operates under its own terms. You remain responsible for maintaining access to your email address and identity-provider account.
You are responsible for the users you authorise, the access you grant to workspaces or projects, and the use of your credentials. Review permissions and remove access when it is no longer needed. A project invitation does not automatically grant access to every project in its workspace.
Share links allow anyone possessing a valid link to access the item it exposes until the link expires or is revoked. Treat those links as confidential and share them only with authorised recipients.
5. Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and within your plan's limits. You must not:
- upload, capture or share content you do not have the right to process;
- use the service for spam, phishing, fraud, harassment or unlawful content;
- attack the service or third-party systems, bypass access controls, or attempt to access another customer's data;
- evade quotas or restrictions through multiple accounts, credential sharing or other means;
- send disruptive traffic, deliberately overload the service, or use replay and forwarding to probe unauthorised destinations;
- resell access to the service without our written agreement.
Use synthetic or anonymised test data wherever possible. Do not send production secrets, full payment-card details, special-category personal data or similarly sensitive information unless its processing has been expressly agreed in writing and appropriate safeguards and agreements are in place.
Responsible security research must avoid customer data and disruption. Contact security@ammo.solutions to agree on any testing that could affect the live service.
6. Your content and personal data
You retain your rights in the content you submit. You grant AMMO the limited right to store, reproduce, process, display and transmit that content as necessary to provide the features you request, maintain security, resolve support incidents and comply with legal obligations. This does not transfer ownership of your content.
You are responsible for deciding what your applications send to ammo.tools, obtaining necessary permissions, and meeting your obligations to people whose data is included. Where AMMO processes personal data on your behalf, a data processing agreement must be in place before you submit that data. These terms are not a substitute for that agreement.
Our Privacy statement describes how AMMO processes account data and captured content. We do not sell personal data or use captured content for advertising or training machine-learning models.
7. Capacity, retention and deletion
Plan limits and capture-retention periods are described on the applicable plan page or agreed order. Rate limits, storage limits, item limits and other technical restrictions may apply. Traffic may be rejected or restricted when those limits are reached or when necessary to protect the service.
Captures are temporary. They may be deleted when their retention period expires, when storage or item limits require older items to be removed, when you delete them, or when the relevant workspace is deleted. A lower-capacity plan can reduce retention and available capacity when the change takes effect.
Keep your own copies of anything you need. Download or export content using the available features before cancelling, deleting a workspace or reducing your plan. AMMO does not promise to restore expired or deleted captures.
Deletion may involve asynchronous processing. We remove active customer data within 14 days of an authorised deletion request or the end of the relevant processing service, subject to agreed return instructions and legally required retention. Each backup is retained for no more than 14 days from creation; a backup made before active deletion may therefore remain for up to a further 14 days. Retained backup copies are protected and excluded from ordinary use. Records we must retain by law are limited to the required purpose and period. The applicable privacy statement and data processing agreement provide further details. Deleting one workspace does not necessarily delete a user account that still has access to another workspace.
8. Plans, prices and payment
Free plans do not create a payment obligation unless you expressly order a paid service. Paid-plan prices, billing interval, applicable taxes and any additional charges must be shown before you confirm your order. No unapproved or undisclosed usage charge is created merely by exceeding a technical limit.
Unless your order states otherwise, paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew until cancelled. Payment is processed through the payment provider identified during checkout. You authorise the recurring payments stated in the order and must maintain a valid payment method.
If payment fails, we may notify the workspace owner and restrict or suspend paid features after a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Unpaid amounts for services already provided remain due, subject to applicable law.
9. Changing plans, cancellation and refunds
The workspace owner can manage a paid subscription through the available billing interface, or contact info@ammo.solutions if that interface is unavailable. You may cancel renewal at any time. Unless otherwise agreed or required by law, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and no further renewal payment is due after that period.
Plan changes take effect on the date confirmed in the billing interface or order. Any immediate charge, credit or proration must be disclosed before you confirm the change. Cancellation of a paid subscription and deletion of a workspace are separate actions; follow the applicable process for each.
For business customers, amounts paid for a billing period are normally non-refundable when you simply stop using the service or cancel renewal. This does not exclude refunds for billing errors, our material failure to provide the agreed service, or circumstances where a refund is required by law.
If you are a consumer, any applicable statutory withdrawal right remains in place. Starting to use the service does not by itself waive that right. A request to start service during a withdrawal period and any permitted payment for service already provided must meet the applicable legal requirements.
For a consumer service contract concluded online, you may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days after the contract is concluded, or any longer period required by law. Send a clear withdrawal statement to info@ammo.solutions or to our postal address in section 1 before the deadline. You may use the form below, but it is not compulsory. We will refund payments due following withdrawal without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the original payment method unless you agree otherwise, without a refund fee. Any deduction for service already provided is permitted only where the law allows it and the required information and express early-performance request were obtained.
Optional consumer withdrawal form: To AMMO Solutions, Kloosterdijk 6, 1141 PJ Monnickendam, Netherlands; info@ammo.solutions. I hereby withdraw from my contract for the following ammo.tools service: [service/workspace or order reference]. Contract date: [date]. Consumer name: [name]. Consumer address: [address]. Account email: [email]. Date: [date]. Signature: [only if sent on paper].
10. Availability and support
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Maintenance, updates, provider failures and other incidents may cause interruptions. Unless a separate written service-level agreement states otherwise, we do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular uptime percentage, a guaranteed support response time, or compatibility with every application.
We may change the service to maintain security and reliability or improve its features. We will give reasonable advance notice of a material reduction in paid functionality where practicable. If such a reduction substantially prevents your agreed use, you may terminate the affected paid service and request a proportionate refund for the unused prepaid period.
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address an immediate security risk, unlawful use, serious abuse, non-payment or a material breach of these terms. We will explain the reason and, where the issue can be remedied, give a reasonable opportunity to do so unless notice would create a security risk or be prohibited by law. Restrictions will be proportionate to the issue.
Either party may terminate for a material breach that remains unresolved after written notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy it. We may terminate immediately where the breach cannot reasonably be remedied or continued access would create a serious risk.
For termination of a paid service for our convenience, rather than your breach, we will normally give at least 30 days' notice and refund any prepaid fees for service we will not provide. We may discontinue a free plan on reasonable notice. We will provide a reasonable opportunity to retrieve available content unless a security risk, legal obligation or the content's normal expiry prevents this.
Ending access does not cancel accrued payment obligations or provisions intended to continue, including confidentiality, ownership and liability provisions.
12. Confidentiality
Each party must protect the other's non-public business information disclosed in connection with the service, use it only for the agreed purpose, and disclose it only to people or providers who need it and are subject to suitable confidentiality obligations. Captured content and access credentials are confidential information.
This obligation does not apply to information that is lawfully public, already known without restriction, independently developed, or lawfully received from another source. A party may disclose information when legally required, with advance notice where lawful and practicable.
13. Intellectual property
AMMO and its licensors retain their rights in the service, its software, branding and documentation. Your subscription gives you permission to use the service within these terms; it does not transfer those rights. Separately distributed open-source software remains subject to its own licence.
You may give feedback voluntarily. AMMO may use that feedback to improve the service without payment, but this does not permit disclosure of your confidential information or use of your name or logo as a public endorsement without permission.
14. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, AMMO's total aggregate liability to a business customer across all claims arising out of or in connection with the agreement is limited to the fees actually paid by that customer to AMMO under the agreement in the 12 months immediately preceding the first event giving rise to the claims. There is no minimum liability amount. If no fees were paid during that period, the contractual cap is zero, subject to the exceptions below.
For business customers, AMMO is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit, lost revenue or business interruption. Responsibility for direct data-loss costs remains subject to the monetary cap above and your obligation to retain your own copies of important data.
These restrictions do not apply to death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, wilful misconduct or deliberate recklessness by AMMO's management, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. They do not restrict mandatory rights of consumers, data subjects or regulators, or AMMO's statutory responsibilities under data protection law. Consumer liability is governed by applicable law; the business-customer cap and exclusions do not remove consumer protections.
Each party must take reasonable steps to reduce avoidable loss and notify the other promptly of a problem. Nothing in this section removes rights that mandatory law protects.
15. Events outside reasonable control
Neither party is responsible for a failure caused by an event outside its reasonable control that could not reasonably have been prevented or overcome. A supplier outage does not automatically excuse a failure if reasonable measures could have avoided it. The affected party must take reasonable steps to reduce the impact and resume performance.
If such an event prevents a substantial part of a paid service for more than 30 consecutive days, either party may terminate that service. We will refund fees prepaid for service we will not provide. This does not excuse amounts due for service already provided.
16. Changes to these terms and prices
We will notify the customer by email of material changes to these terms or subscription prices at least 30 days before they take effect. Price changes will not apply retrospectively to a paid period. If you do not accept a material change, you may cancel before it takes effect; if it takes effect during a prepaid period, you may terminate the affected service and request a proportionate refund for that unused period.
We may make changes sooner when required by law or to address an urgent security issue, with notice as soon as reasonably practicable. Material changes will not take effect solely because an updated document has been placed on the website. Where applicable law requires express acceptance, we will obtain it.
17. Law, disputes and contact
Dutch law governs the agreement. For business customers, disputes that cannot be resolved amicably may be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands. For consumers, this choice does not remove mandatory protection or court access available under the law that applies to them.
Contact info@ammo.solutions first with an account reference and a description of the issue so we can try to resolve it. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
